A New Road to My Life: College

Starting school at Westminster College, has honestly been a blast. I've never been so excited for a new experience (except maybe going to Scotland), and this one has not disappointed! I'm ready to begin the journey to a double major in Art and Psychology!

Classes for this semester include: Beginning Painting (Oil Painting), Intro to Philosophy (one of my favorite classes so far!), Intro to Psych, College Algebra, Yoga for Wellness, and Transitioning to College. I'm also taking an institute class on the New Testament.

My roommates are the bomb! They are all so nice and chill. No partiers here--which is definitely a good thing!

For my philosophy class, we have to choose "character exercises" to do for 2 weeks each--the first ones I chose are: write a short poem every day and write your life history. I will be posting them here. The point of these exercises are to help our own character grow and build internal goods-compassion, ect...

For today's poem:

Perspective

The tiniest tear drop of dew,
Can be seen on the smallest leaf.
But if we do not notice,
is it still there?
