Thanksgiving Day

Just wanted to say, Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I'm so thankful for many things!
I'm very thankful for my family and friends. I'm so very thankful for my talents that God has given to me. Without these talents, I don't think I could have lived here without dying of boredom. I'm thankful for the house I live under, even though we all hate how small it is, I'm glad we are not living outside in the rain. I'm also very thankful for the ways of transportation we have on the earth. Another thing I am thankful for is, the beauty of our Earth. I think sometimes we don't realize how beautiful it is.
Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!

It's Almost Thanksgiving!

I can't believe it's almost Thanksgiving! It baffles me every time how the time passes, when you don't have school. We've had no school in Nov. because of conferences, holidays, or just teacher work days. And now, tomorrow it's THANKSGIVING!!!

Nuncrackers is coming up too! Next week we open!! This is crazy.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Mihama Village!

Steve and I went out for dinner last night to American Village or Mihama Village. On our way there, we went to Starbucks and got Hot Chocolate. We first went to Jusco to exchange some money. (Where the very sad yen rate was 92 yen....Makes me sad....) I know the picture's sideways, but a pretty sunset. After changing our money, we went over to Mihama Carnival Park, which is pretty much a mall. While in the Carnival Mihama Park, we saw the many Christmas decorations. The Japanese go crazy with decorating for Christimas.

The roof in the mall is pretty cool! If you're go up the escalators, you can see the ferris wheel through the roof and it looks amazing!

Okinawa Life

It has been raining now stop for the past couple of days! This is our house. Very exciting! Not that we are the only ones with the same house.....
Anyway, this is our house number, 6109 A! There is no street name, but it's not that hard to find our house because on there is only one street on this side of the base. It's kind of pathetic...

Watching the Discovery Channel with Mom, Dad, and Steve

So I was just watching some bear show on the Discovery Channel with my mom, my dad, and Steve. They were first showing these guys in this clear box with wholes, watching these bears eat a moose carcass. It was hilarious! These two guys were calmly talking about the bears while they were attacking this carcass. Then this guy put a dummy in front of the box. The real guy was in the box. When the first bear came over he started to bite his foot. (The dummy) Another bear came over and pants him. Then another bear came over and took off the dummies jacket. Then the same bear started to give the dummy CPR....at least that's what it look like. The smart guy in the box said that the bear was trying to break the ribs, but it still looked like the bear was giving the dummy CPR. After the bears had killed Billy (the dummy) they smart guys looked at it and said something smart about the killing. Then they got another dummy which they placed in a tent. Then they watched the bear kill that dummy too. Right now this guy just set up a bear buffet to see what kind of food bears like. The first bear came up and took a bite out of the apple, but then saw the salmon and ran. A bear just ate a rice crispie treat! Anyway, this was just a really weird show....

Halloween on Okinawa

This year for Halloween my Okasan (Mom) and I went to the Mihama Halloween Contest. I entered as the "White Witch". It was so much fun! I didn't win anything, but I got my picture taken with/by a million Japanese. They all thought that I was so tall. I felt bad when I scared the little Japanese kids.
We ate at the little Mexican resturant under the Ferris Wheel. It was very good. I had the enchilada meal. I loved the whole night.
After the contest, I went to my friends Abagail's Birthday/Halloween party. It was a lot of fun, until they started throwing cooked rice at everyone. That was a little annoying because it got all in my fur.

Friday's Dance

Friday was the first school dance of the new school year. It was so much fun! The theme was Rockstar and we all went crazy when we heard "I Love Rock and Roll" come on! I was at school on Friday at 6 am to blow up balloons! It was insane! Reagan and I were the only ones there for the first half hour! We didn't have school on Friday, so afterwords we went back home and fell asleep for the next 4 hours....
The dance was two hours long, which was long enough....Reagan and I danced to every song, so by the time it was over, we were both dehydrated and sore...
After the dance Reagan and I had a sleepover at her house. It was so much fun! I don't think I have ever laughed that hard before!
