Nothing is the Same

Nothing is the same today
Everything has changed
No one knows,
That on the inside you are emotionally spent.

Nothing is the same today
As you walk through school,
You see everything differently
You appreciate the little things

Nothing is the same
Because you know something different
Because he's not the same
And you want it to be back the way it was

Nothing is the same
But everything is the same
You are different
Affecting the way you live

Nothing is the same
Nothing is the expected
This is only the beginning
Of a long awful road

Nothing is the same
Everyday is different
Tragic or uplifting
Everyday something is different

Nothing is the same
Although you try to keep it that way
