Leaving Oki

It was much harder than I thought it would be to leave....I don't know what that island has done to me, but it has change me in many ways that I never thought about. I took for granted the nice Okinawans, and the clean restaurants and stores. It really never occured to me in Oki how wonderful it was there. Then I come one and am charged $2.30 for a Purelife water bottle that is only worth $.75. I'm never going to forget Oki, because it was such a wonderful time for me there. I'm going to miss all my friends, and I hope I'll get to see them again. I had such wonderful friends that took me for who I am, and not for the person on the outside. I hope I touched their lives in the same way they touched mine. When I hear that the good-bye letter I wrote to Reagan was sent to her family in the states, saying, "A nice mormon girl gave this to Reagan." It shows that I am an example of the believers.

It's because it was a big part of your growing-up years, just like when Charlene & Bryant were in New Jersey. You ARE a Believer and that is wonderful YOU! no matter if you are in Oki or Utah or anywhere, that's being a daughter of Heavenly Father. WAY TO GO ROBYN! Love you!
